Process Engineer
Our client, a leading organization in the petrochemical industry, is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team. As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Process Engineering Department supporting operational excellence and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Port Neches, Texas (Remote work available)
What's the Job?
- Assist production engineers in deriving operating targets to optimize unit performance and economic efficiency.
- Conduct process scope development for capital projects, including justifications and conceptual design reviews.
- Participate in or lead incident investigations to enhance plant safety and environmental compliance.
- Implement process and capital improvements to increase production, reduce energy consumption, and lower operating costs.
- Perform process simulations and modeling to support operational decision-making and troubleshooting.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience in petrochemical or refining environments.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
- Proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
