We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our team. • Assist the Superintendent in planning, organizing, and overseeing daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor resources effectively to maintain efficient workflow and project progression.
• Monitor construction site operations to enforce quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance with project specifications.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates and address any issues or changes promptly.
• Participate in site inspections, meetings, and project reviews to support decision-making and problem-solving efforts.
• Maintain accurate records of construction progress, labor hours, equipment usage, and material deliveries.
• Support the Superintendent in managing schedules, resolving conflicts, and mitigating risks associated with construction activities.
• Assist in the training and supervision of field personnel to ensure adherence to company policies and construction best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a construction supervisory role, preferably as an Assistant Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and safety standards.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between job sites within Houston and Austin regions.
