Transportation Project Manager - Civil Engineering

AMT is seeking a Transportation Project Manager with 8–12 years of experience for a position in our Towson, Maryland or Rockville, Maryland office. The position is full-time and offers the flexibility to work from home 2–3 days per week, as agreed upon with the Transportation Group Leader. Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington D.C. (Required). 8–12 years of experience in roadway, highway, and traffic control plan preparation with past project‑management experience. Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Strong written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities Lead multi‑discipline teams to deliver transportation design projects, with a focus on multi‑modal roadway projects. Serve as liaison between client and project team, including external stakeholder agencies. Manage all technical resources on the project team, including subconsultants. Prepare task proposals and establish project pricing and budgets. Develop project‑management plans and prepare monthly progress reports. Develop and maintain project schedules. Lead or participate in client meetings and presentations. Provide quality‑control reviews of submittals and deliverables. Mentor and train junior staff. Assist with production tasks (CADD drawings, reports, graphics/renderings, etc.). Assist Group Leader and Division Directors with business development and proposals.
