Job Details Job Details: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is critical to ensure the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art production facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems to support our operations. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical controls, motors, and automation, along with a strong mechanical maintenance background. Responsibilities: Conduct regular inspections of the electrical and mechanical systems to identify and fix faults before they cause breakdowns. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues including electrical controls, motors, and automation systems. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams and technical manuals. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new electrical and mechanical systems. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Document maintenance and repair work for future reference and reporting purposes. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians to enhance their technical skills. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in the engineering industry. Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting, motors, and automation. Strong knowledge of electrical controls and mechanical maintenance. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Superior technical skills with a hands-on approach to tasks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is preferred. Valid certification as an Electrician or similar role is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
