About the Role:
R & D Excavating LLC is looking for a reliable and skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our hardworking team in American Fork, UT. Responsibilities:
Safely operate commercial dump truck, and straight truck and trailer to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure truck is in safe operating condition
Load and unload materials including dirt, gravel, and construction supplies as needed
Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure timely delivery of materials
Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while on the road and on job sites
Assist with general job site duties when not driving as needed
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
Previous experience operating dump trucks, semi-trucks, or heavy equipment transport vehicles preferred
Clean driving record with no major violations
Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements
Ability to safely maneuver trucks in tight or challenging job site conditions
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks as needed
