Job Summary:
The Vascular Operating Room RN is responsible for providing specialized perioperative care to vascular surgery patients. The role requires independence in performing endovascular procedures and delivering quality patient support throughout surgical interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vascular endovascular procedures independently without cath lab team assistance.
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room for vascular surgeries.
• Document patient care and procedural details accurately using EPIC electronic health records.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to intraoperative events.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications and compliance with institutional policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NY RN license in hand.
• Possess 2-3 years of experience in vascular surgery settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC electronic charting systems.
• Certified in BLS and NIHSS with valid documentation.
• Able to independently perform vascular endovascular procedures.
• Capable of managing patient care during complex vascular surgeries.
