Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced and professional HR Generalist to support day-to-day human resources operations for a busy and growing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong HR knowledge, recruiting experience, and employee relations skills looking for a stable first shift opportunity.



Pay: $50,000-$65,000/year

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday

Assignment: 6-Month Contract

Position Overview


The HR Generalist will serve as a key point of contact for employees and leadership while supporting a variety of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding
• Serve as a primary contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues
• Support employee relations efforts including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes
• Administer employee benefits programs and assist with payroll processing
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws including FMLA and OSHA
• Assist with performance management and employee development initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
• 3-5+ years of HR experience required
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and ethically
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
• Ability to Fluently Speak Spanish
