Key Responsibilities Build relationships and develop plans to increase sales and profitability for mid-size accounts. Generate viable sales leads and prospects through market research, sales events, networking, vendor events and computer programs. Contact assigned and prospective accounts to secure new business. Develop and execute profitable business plans for managing accounts. Collaborate with sales and key corporate personnel to communicate account plans, pricing, and offer assistance to drive sales. Accountable for attaining assigned sales quota, part margin and controllable expense objectives. Interact with customers, vendors, and associates to resolve customer and service related issues. Maintain a current and competent base of product knowledge and apply that knowledge when servicing customers. Submit all required sales administration reports and attend company meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Operate a company or personal vehicle consistently more than 20% of the average work week. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required. Essential Responsibilities (Formwork/ Shoring Focus) Provide customer service to new and existing customers for all sales and rental products using the Abacus billing system. Manage a schedule-driven weekly plan prioritized before calls with Sales Manager. Develop and maintain basic knowledge of Jobsite Formwork products and pricing structure. Assertively qualify leads, identify opportunities and manage prospects through our CRM system. Provide analytical and problem‑solving solutions for customers and the company. Stay aware of market behavior and competitive trends; respond proactively. Meet weekly revenue-driving targets: new opportunities, first appointments, customer jobsite visits, and close meetings with decision makers. Attend weekly meetings with Sales Manager to review goals, activities, and call blitz status. Enter new orders into Abacus and generate all billing from start to close of project. Manage >60‑day accounts receivables to bring them current. Complete special projects assigned by Sales Manager. Working Conditions Typical office and service counter environment within a distribution setting. Moderate noise and outdoor temperature fluctuations may occur. Must be able to lift or move up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods of time. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Valid Driver’s License. 3–5 years’ experience in a customer support or inside sales role within the construction supply industry or similar. Intermediate to advanced computer skills and ability to learn new systems. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Learn and become proficient with BlueBeam within the first 90 days. Outstanding communication, listening, and collaboration skills. Exceptional math skills; ability to estimate, price, and prepare scope proposals. Exposure to blueprint reading. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling in an Account Manager environment or demonstrated success working with customers. Experience with inventory sales. Degree preferred.
