Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff and coordinating care with other healthcare disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Job Summary The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Collecting relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
- Analyzing assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
- Developing care plans that prescribe interventions to attain desired outcomes.
- Implementing care plans, coordinating care delivery, and promoting health within a safe environment.
- Evaluating progress toward achieving patient outcomes.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Providing educational support for patients and family members regarding health information.
- Participating in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
- Delegating tasks appropriately and coordinating the duties of healthcare team members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) - Preferred
- Experience in an acute care facility - Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice - Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor - Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor - Required
- Collects patient health data and analyzes it for diagnosis and care issues.
- Implements care plans and evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
- Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provides patient education and participates in discharge planning.
- Delegates responsibilities appropriately among team members.
