Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director

Drax seeks a Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director to lead strategic efficiency, reliability, and decarbonization initiatives across its energy and utilities portfolio. Reporting into Executive, Management & Leadership, you will design and execute optimization strategies spanning generation assets, fuel and materials supply chains, and commercial interfaces. Using data-driven insights, you’ll identify performance gaps, deliver sustainable cost savings, and enhance resilience while supporting Drax’s zero-carbon ambitions. You’ll collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial leaders, manage cross-functional programs, and provide clear KPI reporting to senior executives.
