Mental Health Technician

Description Summary: Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and assists patients with daily living activities. Establishes a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients. Takes vital signs, weighs patients, and collects routine specimens. Attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings Responsibilities: Under the direction of a licensed nurse, performs various service related activities in support of patient care and the patient care unit Responsible for direct and indirect care to assigned patients primarily xmvmafu focusing on hygiene activities of daily living, vital signs and recreational activities Requirements: High School Diploma BLS Work Schedule: 7PM - 7AM Work Type: Full Time
