The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time Location: In-person, Holland, MI Team: Reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager, works closely with the Senior Accounting Analyst and Corporate Controller. Mission: To support corporate consolidations, financial reporting and compliance activities within a manufacturing environment. Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel What You'll Actually Do Prepare: Participate in the monthly close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries in accordance with corporate accounting policies. Reconcile: Analyze and reconcile various general ledger accounts monthly and in accordance with the monthly close calendar. Support: Support corporate consolidations and financial reporting processes across business units. Assist: Assist with internal controls and compliance support, including documentation for audits. Collaborate: Collaborate with the Senior Accounting Analyst and broader finance team to meet monthly and quarterly close deadlines. The Must-Haves Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles (debits/credits, journal entries, reconciliations). Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Skills: Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
