Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program
• Registered or registry-eligible as a Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent)
• Experience performing adult echocardiograms (2D, M-Mode, Doppler)
• Proficient with contemporary echo equipment and digital imaging systems
• Capable of working independently while maintaining attention to detail
• Effective communicator with patients and healthcare professionals

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echocardiographic studies for adult patients as ordered by physicians
• Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout each exam
• Collaborate with cardiologists to provide accurate, timely interpretations
• Maintain all required documentation and patient records in compliance with facility standards
• Operate and maintain ultrasound/echo equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality
• Adhere to established policies, protocols, and infection control guidelines
