Controller

Location: Folsom, CA Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually Description: Controller We are seeking a hands‑on Controller to join our clients growing company. This role will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day accounting operations while providing accurate financial reporting and supporting the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where they will actively participate in the accounting function rather than solely overseeing it. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Manage accounts payable and ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments. Produce monthly financial statements and management reports. Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities. Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and analysis that support business decisions. Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners. Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls to support company growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities. Strong experience with month‑end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial reporting. Experience with job costing and rate‑of‑pay management is highly preferred. Proven ability to work hands‑on and manage detailed accounting responsibilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
