A restaurant group seeks an experienced Director of Operations to lead daily operations, develop restaurant leaders, and strengthen business performance.

This hands-on role requires regular time in restaurants, strong financial judgment, and a consistent approach to coaching and accountability.

The Opportunity

Lead restaurant teams in delivering excellent guest experiences and profitable operations. Establish clear expectations, support managers, and translate business priorities into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across multiple restaurants.
• Coach and develop General Managers and build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
• Improve financial performance through effective sales, labor, food cost, and expense management.
• Establish operating standards, review performance, and drive follow-through.
• Strengthen food quality, service, cleanliness, and consistency.
• Improve recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee retention.
• Identify opportunities to increase guest loyalty, sales, and profitability.
• Partner with leadership on operating priorities and business planning.

Qualifications

• Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English is required, including speaking, reading, and writing. Candidates must communicate effectively, coach managers, and lead teams in both languages.
• At least five years of multi-unit restaurant operations leadership.
• Experience in quick-service, fast-casual, or other high-volume restaurant environments.
• A record of developing strong managers and improving business results.
• Strong P&L management, labor planning, and cost-control skills.
• A hands-on leadership style with clear communication and consistent accountability.
• Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Phoenix metropolitan area.
• Ability to travel regularly between restaurants.
