• Full-Time/Day Shift: Monday-Friday (40 Hours) 7:00 am-3:30 pm.
• Casual/Day Shift or Night Shift (0 Hours).
• Note: On Call Rotation Required.

Mount Carmel St. Ann's:

• Full-Time/Day Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (36 Hours).
• Full-Time/Evening Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (36 Hours).
• Note: On Call Rotation Required.

Sign On Bonus: $7,500 with a 2-year commitment (Full-Time Surg Techs). Referral Bonus: Internal Colleagues can earn $5,000 for referring a Full-Time Surg Tech.

Position Purpose: The Surgical Technologist, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, will provide patient care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Under the RN's direction, sets up, and maintains the surgical field and assists the surgeon during operative procedures.

What you will do:

• Assists in meeting goals and initiatives for surgery department; such as, but not limited to room turnover and first-case on-time starts.
• Assists in training/orientation of associates as directed by the Clinical Educator.
• Maintains a safe environment for the patient.
• Maintains sterile techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of a surgical technology program, holds a certificate of surgical technology through the NBSTSA, NCCT or graduate of a school of practical nursing.
• Licensure / Certification: If a graduate of a school of practical nursing, current license in good standing to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Ohio.
• BLS healthcare provider training required.
