Project ManagerSAN DIEGO, CA Sep 14, 2026 Temporary/ContractDescriptionMove Forward with VoltVolt is immediately hiring for a Remote Project Manager II/III, Product Delivery.As a Product Manager, you will:Release Train Engineers (often called Agile Project or Program Managers) typically fulfill the following responsibilities:Facilitates Product Delivery Planning days known as PSI PlanningFacilitates release planning events and release readiness processAssists with program execution and PSI feature completion trackingFacilitates Scrum of ScrumsFacilitates the bi-weekly sprint reviews and team demo sessionsAssists with decision-making by facilitating estimation by teams and rollup to Program level visibilityRemove impediments, when possible, escalate when necessaryEncourages team collaborationWorks with Product Management, Product Owners, and Product Delivery leaders to help assure strategy and execution alignmentHelps manage riskReports status to Release Management TeamProvides input on moving team members to address critical bottlenecksDrives program-level continuous improvement via Retrospectives and Inspect & Adapt workshopsEncourages team and program level Agile engineering practices and Communities of Practice around Scrum, and Agile program managementWill be the project manager on 1 or more Product Delivery initiativesAs Program Manager, responsible for coordinating and tracking program activities related to process, scheduling, planning, etc. Will provide program level summary to CSG PD PMO and Governance Steering CommitteeThis is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity!The ideal candidate will have:3 to 5 years' experience managing projectsScrum Master certificationCollege degree or project management certification, PMP not requiredFamiliar with Agile software developmentExpert in use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPointPay Rate: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour DOE*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
