We're looking for a Full Time LPN to join our team at the Cabarrus County Jail in North Carolina. If you're a nurse who can stay calm under pressure, work independently, and provide compassionate care to every patient, this could be the change of pace you've been looking for.

And for those overnight hours, this position offers a night and weekend shift differential.

What You'll Do

As an LPN with Southern Health Partners, you'll play an important role in delivering safe, consistent healthcare to our patient population.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Providing nursing care, assessments, treatments, and medication administration
• Monitoring patient conditions and identifying changes that require attention
• Responding appropriately to urgent and emergent medical needs
• Communicating patient concerns and changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare team members
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records and documentation
• Providing patient education and reinforcing treatment plans
• Following established nursing protocols and standards of care
• Working collaboratively with nurses, medical providers, and correctional staff

What You'll Bring

• Current, unrestricted North Carolina LPN license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong assessment, organization, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining a dependable member of the healthcare team
• Professional communication and sound clinical judgment
• Compassionate approach to patient care
• Correctional healthcare experience is welcome, but not required
