Job Summary The Physical Therapist completes assessments and provides skilled therapeutic interventions via outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and off‑site settings. Patients are served as part of a continuum of care. Essential Functions Evaluates patients, gathers pertinent information, and develops treatment plans with specific goals. Responsible for ongoing assessment and plan revisions. Provides direct therapy following the patient’s plan of care and standards of practice. Instructs patients and families on therapeutic procedures. Maintains accurate records of treatment, progress, and coordination of services in the electronic medical record. Delivers efficient care while maintaining a set level of productivity and exceeding department standards. Enforces departmental policies regarding safety, infection control, time‑off requests, and timecard recording, including required education and yearly compliance. Supervises physical therapist assistants in treatment interventions and professional growth.
