Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technician for a travel assignment in Longview, TX. This role requires expertise in the Operating Room, including neuro, spine, ortho, robotic, and vascular surgeries. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing essential care to pre-operative patients.

Key Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Technician - OR

• Assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients
• Prepare patient skin for surgery maintaining hospital standards
• Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for potential breaches
• Provide comfort and support to pre-operative patients
• Transport patients to and from the Operating Room
• Prepare the Operating Room by setting up tables, instruments, and supplies
• Establish and maintain the sterile field during surgeries
• Use physician preference cards to set up the OR and update them as needed
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure patient safety and care

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician - OR

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program
• 2 or more years of experience preferred
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN License required
