This role involves providing expert care to critically ill adult patients within a Level One Trauma Center. The position requires a dedicated professional skilled in advanced life support therapies and committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Position requires at least two years of ICU experience, with specific expertise in medical, surgical, and trauma critical care. Certifications required include Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Valid RN license in Wisconsin or a compact state is required. Experience with Epic electronic health records is necessary. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week. Float: Float rotation may be required. The position involves managing arterial lines, chest tube procedures, ventilator care, central lines, and neuromuscular blockade, among other critical care responsibilities. Candidates must pass a telemetry test with strict criteria prior to start, including adult and pediatric cardiac rhythm identification. The ideal candidate will bring proficiency in high-acuity patient management with a focus on trauma and critical medical conditions. Must have a minimum of two years of recent acute care ICU experience within the last three years in the specialty.
