Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Drive nationwide dry van freight for HMD Trucking while based in Somerville, MA. You’ll use late-model tractors (under 3 years) equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters to run OTR lanes focused on safety and dependable service.

Core duties:

• Safely operate dry van equipment on interstate routes and complete scheduled deliveries.
• Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and keep accurate logs and paperwork.
• Liaise with dispatch to resolve routing or freight issues and report equipment needs.

Requirements & highlights:

• Must hold a CDL-A and have at least 12 months of verifiable experience.
• Compensation begins at 65¢/mile with weekly averages around 2,500 miles, plus bonuses, in-house maintenance support, regular home time, and comprehensive benefits.
