Credentialing Specialist

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for facilitating all aspects of provider credentialing. This includes initial appointment, reappointment, credential audits, and clinical privileging for Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals. The role involves utilizing credentialing software applications to perform and monitor all credentialing and background checks. Maintaining accuracy and data integrity is essential. The specialist is responsible for interpretation and compliance with appropriate accrediting and regulatory agencies. Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the statutes and laws relating to credentialing is crucial. This position requires all work to be performed on-site.
