Travel RN - ICUAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a day shift assignment requiring float coverage between ICU and Med-Surg units with every other weekend required.Work in the ICU of a Critical Access/Level III Trauma Center teaching hospitalICU staffing ratio of 1:1-2 patientsFloat to Med-Surg with ratios of 1:4-5 when neededDay shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM)Every other weekend requiredNo on-call responsibilitiesFloating required between ICU and Med-Surg units, and potentially to other facilities within the health system network (Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent)Uses Epic EMR systemHours per week: 36Hours per shift: 12Active RN license requiredMinimum 2 years of recent experience requiredEpic EMR experience requiredVehicle required for this assignmentMinimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/settingProvide critical care nursing services in the ICU with additional support to Med-Surg as needed based on patient censusScrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units; any color accepted for other areasNo parking fees at this facilityFirst-time travelers are welcome to applyFormer permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot apply within 50 miles of the facilityMinimal to no requested time off (RTO) accommodated for this assignmentFloating between all facilities within the state may be required, and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
