TK Health is seeking a licensed Physician (MD or DO) to provide medical care and clinical oversight at the Blount County Jail.

Position Highlights

• Only 4 hours onsite per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to the inmate population
• Supervise and support Nurse Practitioners (NPs)
• Ensure appropriate medical treatment plans
• Collaborate with facility staff and TK Health leadership

Qualifications (Required)

• Must be a licensed Physician (MD or DO)
• Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are not eligible for this position
• Licensed in the State of Tennessee (or ability to obtain)
• Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

Preferred Experience

• Correctional, primary care, or urgent care
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership ability
