Endo Tech / GI Tech Location: Rochester, MI Agency: Lancesoft Inc. Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift: Days – 5 days of 8 hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP Job Duties Assist physicians and Registered Nurses during endoscopic procedures (EBUS, bronchoscopy, EUS, ERCP, and standard GI scopes) Provide pre-, intra-, and post‑procedure patient support and monitoring under RN supervision Take and monitor vital signs and communicate patient status changes to RN Position patients safely before and during procedures Perform airway support including head positioning and oropharyngeal suctioning Provide abdominal pressure during procedures as directed by provider Prepare, assemble, and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment and accessories Operate and verify endoscope functionality (air/water systems, white balance, suction, CO₂ pumps) Perform pre‑cleaning, leak testing, and high‑level disinfection of scopes and accessories Manage and handle procedural instruments (forceps, snares, clips, nets, graspers, heater probes) Collect, label, and manage specimens accurately Enter patient/procedure data into endoscopy reporting software Support room turnover including cleaning, bed making, and equipment preparation Transport patients and act as procedure runner as needed Requirements High School Diploma or GED Active BLS (AHA) Minimum 2 years healthcare experience preferred (clinic, surgical, or procedural setting) Ability to assist in advanced GI procedures including EBUS, bronchoscopy, EUS, and ERCP Comfortable with on‑call rotation (weeknights, weekends, and extended coverage shifts) Strong attention to detail for specimen handling and documentation accuracy Ability to perform equipment troubleshooting and sterile processing procedures Must be able to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning and mobility #J-18808-Ljbffr AlliedTravelCareers
