Senior Agentic AI Engineer
W2 Contract | 12 Months | Washington, DC (Hybrid: 4 days onsite/week, transitioning to 100% onsite)

Key Responsibilities
- Build and enhance AI components incorporating reasoning, automation, search, and orchestration capabilities
- Design RAG and agentic AI pipelines aligned with enterprise patterns
- Develop multi-agent pipelines using agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph)
- Implement tool-driven workflows for retrieval, reasoning, and decision-making
- Build AI and data pipelines using Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, Functions, App Services, ML Studio
- Use Databricks for data preparation, feature engineering, and RAG-ready embeddings
- Develop APIs and backend components using Python (FastAPI, Flask)
- Produce technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and ensure governance compliance

Primary Skills: agentic frameworks, LangChain, LangGraph, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, Azure Functions, App Services, ML Studio, Databricks, Python
Secondary Skills: OpenSearch, AWS Lambda, FastAPI, Flask
Core Expertise: AI development, cloud services, data engineering, Python
- Strong hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks and cloud-based AI services
- Expertise in large-scale data engineering environments
- Experience with Azure and AWS services for AI and data pipelines
- Proficiency in Python application development
