About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - General Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid license required Certifications: ARDMS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience is required. - Experience with Epic charting system is required. - Community hospital experience is preferred. - Trauma Level I experience is preferred. Description: The ultrasound tech will perform general ultrasound examinations. The tech will work with patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Daily census includes approximately 10 patients. The tech must be willing to float between facilities or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed. Work on 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year is expected. Two references covering one year of experience during the compliance process are required. Completion of modules and other non-billable training is expected and must be self-reported. Candidates must have a valid license in hand prior to starting the position. The ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations is essential. A commitment to high standards of patient care and safety is required.
