Blood Bank / Hematology Medical Technologist
A healthcare organization is seeking a Blood Bank / Hematology Medical Technologist to join their laboratory team on a full-time permanent basis.
Position Details:
- Full-time permanent position

Responsibilities:
- Perform testing in Blood Bank and Hematology departments
- Conduct compatibility testing, antibody identification, and transfusion-related procedures
- Analyze and report accurate patient test results
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation
- Follow quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care and transfusion services
Requirements:
- ASCP certification preferred or required for many positions
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- Previous Blood Bank and/or Hematology experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced laboratory environment
