JOB LOCATION – Wilkes-Barre General Hospital

JOB SHIFT – Full Time - Evening Shift/Evening Weekends/Call

POSITION PURPOSE

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.

POSITION QUALICATIONS

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences or Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.

Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes

Technical expertise, knowledge of anatomy, ability to teach/instruct, manual dexterity, safety conscious, clerical accuracy, communication skills.

Licenses/Certificates:

Registry eligible for Certification by ARRT (US) or ARMDS.
BLS certification required and must be completed prior to end of orientation period.
Must pass registry exam within six (6) months of hire.
Must pass RVT registry exam within 12 months of graduation.
