Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) is looking for a dynamic and deeply technical product leader to define and build the future features and capabilities customers of all sizes to run their applications on our industry leading AI/ML computing infrastructure. Customers around the world — from frontier AI labs training the largest foundation models to enterprises deploying inference at scale — rely on Amazon EC2 to design distributed systems and deliver breakthrough performance for their most demanding workloads.

We are in need of high-powered Product Managers to understand how customers in different geographies, deploy, manage, and pay for their current infrastructure, and how EC2 should adjust our product capabilities and positioning to fit the unique and upcoming needs of customers across AI/ML (training and inference), Reinforced Learning (RL), Big Data, Distributed, and Scalable global systems.

We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager who has a passion for building hyper-scale cloud products enabling businesses to build next generation cloud applications as well as take existing applications to the Cloud. As a member of the EC2 Product team, you will help build core features across EC2 and AWS to help customers across all industries and geographies adopt and built the next generation of technologies on AWS. You will work on new features enabling the next generation workloads for AI/ML applications and global scaling, helping customers build and grow overall on EC2 and AWS.

In this role you will play a pivotal role defining product requirements, go-to-market strategy, and tirelessly champion the needs of our customers. Given the breadth of the EC2 service this role will require coordination across many internal and external teams and will be visible at the highest levels of the company. You’ll work with our customers, partners, software vendors, and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features, and spearhead the definition of new capabilities through expertly crafted business requirements documents.

· Define high-quality roadmaps based on team strategy and vision

· Develop detailed, crisp business narratives and user stories that can be used to create pricing strategies, product specifications and new features

· Work closely with sales teams, solution architects, business development and engineering teams to solve complex product and pricing issues

· Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, performance and operational support load

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience

• 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience

• 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience

• 7+ years of full product life cycle experience

• 5+ years of P&L management and pricing experience

• 5+ years of creating written docs for development of new products experience

• 5+ years of enterprise security product experience

• 5+ years of product management in the cloud computing technology space experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, or economics

• Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market

• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

• Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
