Your Responsibilities as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, submitting a DOT inspection report that details the vehicle's condition. Verify the accuracy of the bill of lading and store keys during off-hour deliveries. Safely operate the tractor-trailer to designated locations, utilizing your knowledge of commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvering skills. Maintain a driver log (either manually or via Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipts, product temperatures, and any exceptions. Unload the trailer and deliver products to customer locations. Qualifications for a CDL-A Teammate: Possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A). A minimum of 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of experience driving a tractor-trailer. Must meet our organization’s MVR and risk rating standards. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
