Join us.Position Title: Senior Electronics Engineer, ISRLocation: Irvine, CAWork Arrangement: On-sitePosition Summary: DZYNE has an immediate need for a talented Senior Electronics Engineer who will serve as a technical owner and hands-on contributor across the full lifecycle of DZYNE's aircraft and launcher electrical systems. In this role, the engineer will perform circuit and subsystem design, system integration, troubleshooting, harness design, avionics/electronic system testing, and data analysis. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager, while working directly with Vehicle Technical Leads and Program Managers.Required Duties and Responsibilities:Lead full PCB design cycle involving requirements, schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, functional verification, and performance testsDesign, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems/subsystemsDevelop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses connecting systems within the air vehicleSupport design updates driven by product improvements, obsolescence, and evolving requirementsConduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviewsWork closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to support new product development and active deployments in a fast-paced environmentMentor other engineers and promote sound engineering practicesRequired Skills/Qualifications:Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experienceDemonstrated capability in complex circuit board design, bring-up, signal/power integrity analysis, and validationProven experience in designing electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, documentation, system level integration and troubleshootingIn-depth understanding of Analog/Mixed-signal, Digital, or RF circuit componentsDetailed working knowledge of common test equipment, and CAD tools such as AltiumExcellent problem solving and planning skillsProven communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Skills/Qualifications:Experience in designing electronics for robotic and/or aircraft systemsHands-on experience with microcontrollers, common serial interfaces, high speed communication, and firmware/software integrationUAV experience highly desirableExperience working in small to medium sized teams in a fast-paced R&D environmentFamiliarity with MIL-spec hardware and harnessingNo Security Clearance is required, but it is highly desiredEducation:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fieldClearance Level Required:This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements and compliance obligations.Work Authorization Requirement:Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.Salary:$150,000 - $200,000 annually Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
