Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health Crisis Services Cleveland, OH, USA Job Description Posted Friday, February 20, 2026 at 5:00 AM Bring Your Nursing Expertise to Behavioral Health Crisis Care The Centers is launching the Behavioral Health Crisis Centers (BHCC) this September, an innovative, state-of-the-art facility designed to expand access to immediate, trauma-informed support for adults experiencing mental health or substance use crises. We are hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Crisis Receiving Center. Provide high-quality healthcare to individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies. Your Clinical Role: Deliver assessment, treatment, coordination, and education to patients across the lifespan in a fast-paced crisis setting. Function as a key clinical team member providing holistic, patient-centered care. Administer treatments and medications per provider orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Educate patients and families on conditions and treatments Document accurately in electronic medical record Participate in Quality Assurance and Improvement activities Required Qualifications: Graduate of accredited school of nursing 1+ years clinical nursing experience BLS certification, at least 2 weeks prior to start Skills for Success: Clear, effective verbal and written communication Cultural humility and respect for diversity Interpersonal effectiveness and trust-building Clinical competence in mental health/substance use crises Schedule Availability To support this new service launch, all shifts are currently available, including: 12 Hour Shifts Day shift Overnight shift Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities Flexible scheduling options are available and will be discussed during the interview process.
