Staff Pharmacist - Franklin, TN

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a multi-licensed Staff Pharmacist with expertise in specialty pharmacy practice, focusing on complex infused drug therapies. This contract-to-hire position supports patients managing hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic conditions treated with advanced pharmaceutical regimens.

Location:
Franklin, TN (close to Nashville)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive clinical management for patients requiring infused medications, including factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusions.
Provide detailed patient education on drug administration, side effect management, and adherence strategies to empower safe medication use at home.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
Assist with benefits navigation by working alongside reimbursement specialists to handle insurance authorizations and financial assistance programs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
Multi-state licensure strongly preferred; willingness to obtain additional licenses is essential
Experience with CareTend software is highly desirable; training provided if needed
Strong clinical knowledge of specialty therapies and infused drug protocols
