Accounting Specialist
Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Membership Transition team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Mettawa, IL
Pay Range: $24.00-$28.00
Shift: Days (08:00-17:00)
What's the Job?
- Process membership cancellation requests in Oracle, SFDC, and update the cancellation tracker within specified timelines
- Maintain member files in shared drives ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Handle agreement changes in SalesOptima, SFDC, and Oracle systems
- Process FBC+ cancellation requests and member refunds with precision
- Respond to member inquiries regarding cancellations, billing, and refunds, providing excellent customer service
What's Needed?
- At least 1 year of experience in general accounting using QuickBooks or Oracle
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic business environment
- Experience with data entry, record keeping, and proficiency in Excel; accounts payable/receivable experience is a plus
