LTC LVN / LPN Long Term Care
Schedule - Shift: 4x12 Variable or 3x12 Variable (traveler's choice); Days or Nights (no routine rotation)
Assignment Details - Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
Requirements - Current Alaska LPN license (in hand) - BLS certification - Minimum 1 year clinical experience (LTC experience required) - Previous travel experience required
Roles & Responsibilities - Provide nursing care to adults and geriatrics in a long-term care setting. - Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders. - Assist with daily living activities and monitor patient progress. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate and compliant medical records. - Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
Compliance / Notes - Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) - RTO rules: max 1 week RTO for 13-week contract; max 2 weeks RTO for 26-week contract - Food Worker Certification required; completed on-site during orientation - Facility only accepts Hep B vaccine; documentation required or must be willing to vaccinate.
