Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 salary, based on experience Benefits: Simple IRA with 3% matching, 70% employer paid health insurance A Day in the Life of the Commercial Insurance Customer Service Agent In this role, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial accounts, ensuring clients receive timely, accurate, and professional service. You’ll manage renewals, policy updates, and ongoing account support while working closely with producers and carriers. Your work plays a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the agency’s overall service excellence and retention goals. Responsibilities include: Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned commercial accounts Manage renewals, annual reviews, and ongoing account servicing Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the agency management system Handle client requests including policy changes, claims support, billing inquiries, and general service calls Quote commercial lines requests with proper documentation from producers Process certificates of insurance and review requirements with clients Monitor and manage client expiration lists Process commercial payments and agency bill transactions Review and process endorsements and related documentation Communicate with insurance carriers regarding client requests and follow up as needed Document all client interactions, transactions, and updates in the management system Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner Manage and maintain account downloads within the agency management system Requirements and Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance Prior experience handling renewals, endorsements, and servicing accounts Experience using an agency management system (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic, etc.) Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage a high-volume book of business High attention to detail, organizational abilities, and a proactive work style Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously About the Hiring Company: Our client is a dedicated insurance agency focused on delivering reliable and personalized commercial insurance solutions.
