Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves working in a hospital setting where the nurse will provide both routine and complex care to cardiac and telemetry patients, while managing a nurse/patient ratio of 5:1-6:1. The successful candidate must be willing to float within their clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocol; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess educational needs and provide educational resources to patients, family members, and caregivers.

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• BLS and ACLS certification via AHA required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
