Responsibilities:

Set up and operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, and stitchers.

Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects.

Maintain equipment and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Assist in inventory management of supplies and materials.

Train new staff on bindery operations and best practices.

Adhere to production schedules and communicate any delays promptly.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Previous bindery or print production experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to operate machinery and handle physical tasks.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills .

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Familiarity with bindery processes and equipment is advantageous.

Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Polar cutters, MBO folders. Knowledge of paper stocks, grain direction, and finishing techniques
