Modern Thyroid Clinic- Medical Assistant We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting patients, working closely with healthcare providers, and managing both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2 Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (flexible) 30-minute lunch break Key Responsibilities Process prescription refill requests as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance Prepare and maintain patient charts by accurately updating information in the electronic health records (EHR) system Monitor and respond to patient portal messages with professionalism and compassion Coordinate communication between patients and providers to ensure clear and timely information exchange Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing documentation Compensation $22 per hour during the initial 90-day (or less) probationary period $24 per hour following a successful 90-day performance review Benefits (After 90-Day Probationary Period) Health insurance through Aetna 6 days of paid time off (PTO) 8 paid holidays Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Comfort working with EHR systems and patient portals Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Patient-focused, reliable, and detail-oriented If you’re passionate about patient care and looking for a supportive, professional work environment, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
