Title: Surgical Technician Location: Jackson, MI 49201 Job Type: Contract Schedule: 3x12s: 7a-7:30p Call Schedule: Once per week and every 6th weekend. Pay Range: Local: $45.00 - $48.00/hr. ($1,620.00 - $1,728.00/week) Travel: $47.28 - $50.28/hr. ($1,702.00 - $1,810.00/week) Job Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and Surgical Team members, responsible for the handling or surgical instruments, supplies and equipment necessary during general surgical procedures. Ensures understanding of assigned surgical procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the assigned surgical team. Also provides service support related to patient preparation, patient transport, building services and assisting surgical care team with specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs. Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures. Required: BLS from AHA. Certified Surgical Tech. HS Diploma or equivalent. Must have at least 1+ years of strong recent ST experience.
