School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Sunnyvale, California

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and valid California SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous experience with school-aged or elementary students preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to write clear, individualized reports and develop effective IEP goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to a manageable elementary caseload, fostering students' communication skills in both individual and group settings
• Perform assessments and contribute to eligibility meetings
• Collaborate with special education and classroom teachers to support inclusive education
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for each assigned student
• Keep detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and student outcomes
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
