Prep Cooks Banquets

(This is an On-Call Position)

Assists workers engaged in preparing food for Banquets by performing the following duties:

Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds vegetables and fruits
Cleans, cuts, and grinds meats, poultry, and seafood.
Dips food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them.
Stir and strain soups and sauces.
Weighs and measures designated ingredients according to standardized recipes.
Carries pans, kettles, and food trays to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
Stores foods in designated areas
Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils; segregates and removes garbage; steam cleans or hoses garbage containers.
Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
Records food and supplies used in an inventory log
Adheres to all health, sanitary and safety regulations.
Other duties may be assigned.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Available to work "On-Call" nights and weekends. Since this is an "On-Call" position, no minimum hours are guaranteed for any day/week/month

Must pass a criminal background check
