Benefits Specialist Location: St Petersburg, 33702 – Hybrid Option to WFH on Monday and Friday if you have a private, designated workspace Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour Type: Contract, (4) months for peak season, may go perm Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST Job description: Provide customer service and benefits administration support to clients, employees, and field partners through phone, email, and fax, resolving questions related to health plans, providers, and enrollment. Support new client benefits enrollment, including plan setup, carrier submissions, coverage confirmation, and guidance on benefit plan options and online benefits portals. Administer ongoing benefit changes, including qualifying life events, terminations, plan maintenance, and coordination with carriers and vendors to resolve coverage issues. Perform benefits data entry, reconciliation, and documentation while maintaining accurate records of client interactions, benefit changes, and issue resolutions within CRM and benefits systems. Support ACA compliance, eligibility reporting, open enrollment, and special projects while following HIPAA, SOC controls, data privacy, and confidentiality requirements. Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree PEO HR experience or HR outsourcing ACA administration (2 years) Adobe Acrobat Pro Salesforce HRIS platforms Requirements: Must have (2)+ years of experience in customer service and/or employee benefits Must be familiar with health and benefits administration through work or education Must be MS Office proficient including Excel, PowerPoint High school diploma or equivalent Background check required Education verification required #J-18808-Ljbffr
