Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Odessa, Texas. This role involves providing critical nursing care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. Job Details: Location: Odessa, Texas Schedule: Nights (1900-0700) with a minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Stroke certification. Candidates must have at least 2 years of emergency nursing experience and prior travel experience. No local applicants will be accepted. Additional Information: The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement, and leadership in ensuring the safe delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department. The role includes maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities appropriately, and providing supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
