This individual will be responsible for a variety of janitorial duties on an assigned route.**Typical duties include but are not limited to:*** Restroom Cleaning – sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies.* Office Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.* Halls and High Traffic area Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.* Entrances and Exits Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean entry doors according to schedule.* Trash – Empty trash in office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker according to schedule.* Supply Restocking – restock supplies according to schedule.* Dusting – dusting in restrooms, shower/locker areas, according to schedule.* Stairwell Cleaning – sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe handrails according to schedule.* Shower Cleaning – clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures* Janitorial Supply Closet/Locker – keep clean and organized.**Qualifications:*** Must be able to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way.* Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.* Paid on-the-job training provided.**Physical Requirements:**Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.* May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.* Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking.
