Job Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

Day shifts: 3x12-Hours (06:30 - 19:00)

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks. Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments may be required. Regular floating between departments may also be necessary.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience required
• Certifications required: ABLS
• Preferred certifications: CNOR, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Skills in various surgical procedures including gynecology, plastics, trauma, podiatry, orthopedic, general surgery, endoscopic procedures, urology, robotics, and ear/nose/throat
• Experience with emergency management and compliance with universal protocols
• Charting experience with Epic

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting
• Assist in surgical procedures by managing instruments and equipment
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as needed
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
