Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas, verify access as directed by site policies, and assist with visitor directions and general support. Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations, and by completing required logs, reports, and other security‑related documentation. Minimum Requirements: Hospital positions require proof of required vaccinations. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Applicants must be 21+ years of age. Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
