Entry Level Phlebotomy Opportunity

The schedule is designed to fit your life. Responsibilities Collect high‑quality plasma by performing phlebotomy and donor screening. Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure the safety of donors and the team. Screen new and repeat donors; take and record vital signs and finger‑stick results. Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation. Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes using approved procedures. Work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. Show reliability during scheduled hours and help maintain schedule integrity. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Current, active certification or license: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1), CPT2, Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift; lift up to 32 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees. Fine‑motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. At least one year of customer or patient–facing experience (helpful). Experience with bloodborne pathogen risk level 1 and prolonged glove wear (90% tasks). Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage starting at $19.00 (subject to local minimum wage).
